Lars Walker
Fantasy Author & Viking Lecturer
Lars Walker is a native of Kenyon, Minnesota and a graduate of Augsburg College, Minneapolis. He has a Master’s in Library & Information Science from the Univ. of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. He grew up on a farm, and has worked as a crab meat packer in Alaska, a mail clerk, an administrative assistant, a radio announcer, and an academic librarian. He is editor of the Journal of the Georg Sverdrup Society, and is a Viking reenactor and Norwegian translator. He has renounced all claims to the throne of Norway.
He is also a sought-after Viking lecturer who has given presentations across the upper Midwest as well as on ocean cruises in Norway.
